after such a big couple of days, i'm really tired tonight. i think i might even have an early night. a chocolate milk, a shower & bed .. sounds like a plan, stan.

i finally got enough milk expressed last night for riley to have today. i ended up expressing through the night from one breast as he fed from the other. much more successful. i expressed 160mls (about 5½ ounces) in total, which was enough for him to have one big feed.
the last feed i gave him was at about 7am this morning. when i called mum at about 1pm to say i was on my way back, he hadn't yet wanted a single feed! i was very surprised. he finally did have a feed shortly after i spoke to mum & he made up for the lack of feeds that morning once i was back by tucking in for about three or four feeds in a row. hungry boy.
