wow. we've got a sudden downpour of really heavy, drenching rain. this is excellent. it should top up the tank nicely again.

riley didn't seem to mind a dirty nappy when he was younger, but recently, he'll begin whinging if he's wet or dirty. it's a good thing, i guess, because now i know when he needs a new nappy when he feels it, rather than when i feel it.

following is talk about baby poo, so if you're eating breakfast or are not a mum with a baby in nappies, stop reading.
riley hasn't done a decent poo for a number of days. we were told at our prenatal classes that this sometimes happens with breastfed babies & is completely normal. all he'd had were a couple of tiny little wet patches, hardly more than a fart. this morning he made up for the lack of them & gave me one really impressive one. it's the best one he's done ever. there was so much of it! fortunately this was not an exploding one.
