riley must be the hungriest little boy in the world today. it seems as though he hasn't stopped feeding all day. perhaps he's having a bit of a growth spurt.

now that i have a child of my own, when i see the lady next door interacting with her own son, i can see how she's still totally in love with him. he's not a baby anymore, he's thirteen, but he's still her baby. i hadn't really thought about it, but i guess (& hope) i'll still feel the same way about my own baby boy when he's no longer a baby. *smile*

wow .. now he's just figured out that he can make all the toys on his play mat jiggle by kicking the arch supporting them. lol!! he's so gorgeous! *chuckle*

finl anaysis on the spider bite is that there definitely was one bite from a spider & one bite from a mosquito. could be a good theory as to why the swelling was so weird & persisted for a relatively long time.

a mosquito got me this morning on the back of my heel. i really hate that. you can't scratch it very well through the tough skin. it just itches & itches & itches ..

another mosquito (although who knows? it could be the same one terrorising me night after night *chuckle* ) got me the night before on the outside corner of my right eye (socket). i'm trying very hard not to scratch that one. if it got too swollen i fear my eye would swell shut a bit.
