riley's slowly gaining hand control. he's been grabbing things for a couple of weeks already, but i think it's been dumb luck as to what he actually manages to get into his fist. it's especially funny when he grabs his bib or a handtowel placed under his head & manages to cover his face with it when he tries to bring it to his mouth to munch on. he looks terribly surprised when he can't see all of a sudden. 
for christmas, my mum bought him a teething rattle which i've placed into his hand for him. he can bring it up to his face, but has only so far managed to suck on the back of it, not realising that he doesn't have to bring his fist right up to his face to munch on any part of the rattle. its rather cute.
