most of you would already know about britt, my niece, having been diagnosed with leaukemia. britt's dad, my brother-in-law, has built a site about a fund raising drive (literally a drive), which he has organised & built from the ground up, to help raise money to find a cure for leaukaemia. i've added a link permanently to the top of my site, so please help out by supporting the cause in any way that you can. see more details at cruise4Acure.

after finding my contact lenses i wore them last night for a couple of hours & today for most of the morning without getting any headaches. they're still going to take a bit of getting used to though since they're nowhere near as comfortable as soft lenses.

earlier this morning, smiley reached for something & he clumsily but successfully (& intentionally) grabbed it! he looked rather pleased with himself as he did it quite a few more times. clever boy!
