okay, so it turns out that world idol isn't on tonight after all. it's tomorrow night that they're replaying the one screening at 6:30am (brisbane time) tomorrow morning.

far out. i almost forgot about watching the replay of world idol on tv tonight to see who won. don't tell me if you already know!

i've looked at the online tv guide & it doesn't show it, but i'm pretty sure it's on at 7:30pm.

one of these days i really have to go into medicare to claim on all the bills we got while i was pregnant & in hospital having riley. i'm not looking forward to it. every single time, no matter what time of day i've been past a medicare office, no matter which office, it's always packed, with a really long line. ergh.

i know i could do it by mail, but i'd prefer to go in & get the cash in hand. nice & simple that way, you know?

i also have to remember to add smiley so that he can get a medicare card, or at least be listed on mine.

for christmas gifts (& two for myself) i bought a five pack of the fuji disposable 8 from the lomography people. sometimes disposable cameras can be refilled, but after taking all fifteen shots on my first one, i took the film out & pulled it apart to see if it can be refilled. unless you have a darkroom & some very deft fingers (& a tiny screw driver or two) this one is definitely a one-use camera. i'm glad now that i got two for me.

lately we've been putting riley in a wind-up swinging chair which used to belong to my sister. i've discovered it's not really a swinging chair though, it's actually a kissing machine. you see, if i stand at just the right distance away & lean right forward, then i can kiss his head every time he swings near me. *grin*
