ouch!! how do you teach an almost four month old baby that munching on mummy's nipple is very naughty? he's been doing it a number of times almost every feed for the last day or so. thank goodness he doesn't have teeth yet!

Push his face into your boob as soon as he bites. He'll have no choice but to detach as he won't be able to breathe. I'd do that with Hayden and then pop him on the floor for a few minutes before trying again. They soon get the idea.

i think i have read that you should just detach them immediately and wait a little bit before trying to let him start again. if he munches more, keep detaching, and he'll soon learn that if he does that the boob will be taken away. he won't want that so he'll stop
