lots of blogging - 10:25 PM

i've blogged eleven times today (plus this one makes twelve) as well as a new diary entry. that's more than one entry every hour. i'm not really sure if that means anything.
i think it's time for bed now, though. g'night.

i just upgraded eudora to version 6. looks okay at first glance. they seem to be going the same way that windows did with xp. that fisher price look, you know?

i've been craving milk since a month or two before riley was born & i'm still craving it. i brought home a three litre milk yesterday afternoon & i've drunk half of it in just over twenty-four hours.

shroom's watching 28 days later. scary movies really freak me out though, so i asked him to use headphones. it's not so bad when you can't hear the sound, so i've been watching bits of it over his shoulder. shroom reckons it's not so bad, but he doesn't get freaked out like i do. i always remember the really scary bits late at night when i'm over-tired & it's dark outside & i'm home alone. i know it's not real, but it doesn't make it any less scary for me.

i just held onto a small piece of mango while smiley sucked on the other end of it .. & he loved it! he was even smiling & laughing about it. 
maybe he'll be ready for solids soon after all. one of the signs they reckon is that the baby shows an interest when you're eating. he has been over the last day or so. i think i'll still wait until closer to six months, but he seems to be starting to show the right signs of wanting solids.

hmm. i just got an email from the people who do the couriering (wow, that's really hard to say) for enjo saying that my goods have been despatched. i didn't order anything yet though. could be the bits for my diary which were out of stock when i got it.
anyway, who really cares .. i just love getting packages!

my gosh! it's 41 degrees (over 105 f) outside!
it's days like these that make me glad that a) i don't have a manual labour job working outside, b) our clothes dryer is outside on the porch, & c) we have air conditioning.

there is now an option to subscribe to comments. what this means is that you can have comments left on a post emailed to you. this is handy if you're interested in what others might have to say, without you having to revisit the post all the time. this is site-wide (including past entries) with an option to subscribe to an entry without leaving a comment.
