some days i think that i have too many bibs & spew rags (hand towels) for riley & i wonder why i ever thought i'd need so many. on days like today though, i'm glad that i have so many. he's been spewing up a storm today. on one occasion, i changed his bib & had to get a new spew rag three times in about as many minutes.

its just riley & i at home today. shroom's working today & tomorrow. his contract is coming to an end just over a week away so he's getting some hours in while he can, not to mention that he has a lot of projects to finish up before he does.
it's a bit lonely on the weekends when he works.

the other day i was looking around on the net & came across an online pharmacy. i looked at their prices & was really pleasantly surprised at how much cheaper they are than other places. i told my mum about it & she found a bottle of tablets that she uses reguarly for about $30 less than what she paid for them at a 'real life' pharmacy! other less expensive items were averaging about one to two dollars cheaper than the 'real life' equivalent.
the shipping is $4.95 within australia, but if you buy a few items (especially if they're as costly as the item that my mum was after) then you'll cover that easily & still save money. my first order from them, which arrived in good time & good condition, included an item for teething (since riley will be teething soon) so they even put in a a couple of pages on info about common baby problems. very throughtful.
it's worth browsing around to compare prices of any prescription or non-prescription drugs (or any pharmacy item) you use. i'll bet that in most cases you'll find it a hell of a lot cheaper.

argh. you know something that really bugs me? when people put line breaks at the supposed end of a line in a text box on websites. i see it most in the user comments at the internet movie database where the comments are then forced into a narrow column with empty lines between each line of text.
i know, i know .. some people just don't realise, don't use computers/the internet much, blah blah blah, but it doesn't mean that it annoys me any less.
