saw one of those silly quizzes at sherry's so i did it too. it says of me:
"WATER OF EARTH. Mommy! Well, you could be. You are good with plants and small creatures such as children. You're very generous and basically great hearted. You probably make mad whack cookies and are good at managing the household; also businesses. You'd make a good tax person, book keeper, gardener, massage therapist, etc. The ever domestic and practical one, you can stretch a penny and make ramen noodles go a long way."
i'd say that's pretty accurate, except that i'm not good with plants. heh.

apparently, my reputation as an relaxed mother has preceded me. the other day, i visited mum when one of her close friends from a long time ago (when i was still a baby) was visiting her from perth. mum told me later that she mentioned to her how relaxed i am as a mother.
dad & tosca are in brisbane at the moment, from melbourne. dad's doing a week long course, so tosca came to spend the day with riley & i. there are some friends of theirs who also know mum & she'd mentioned to these friends that i was an easy-going mum. they then discussed it with dad & tosca.
with all this going on about me being such a relaxed mum, i began to worry if maybe i'm too relaxed since everyone seems to be talking about it. tosca said today though, that people are saying that i'm relaxed in the best possible way. still a really good mum (which was nice to hear), but just not all uptight about other people interacting with riley. 
*phew!*
