i must remember to never again go into the stationery section of a department store on the afternoon of the last late night shopping night before school starts back for the year. never doing it again.
okay, well maybe i will be doing it in a few years, but even then i'm going to try to make sure i have all his school stationery shopping done way earlier than five days before the new school year begins.

Dunno about Qld, but here in Vic you don't go out shopping for school stuff, at least not at primary school level. You just pay the school and they give you a box of all of it.

Schools here don't even give out the supply lists until the first day of school thereby making it impossible to do it early.
