stamping, stamping, stamping - 09:51 PM

i bought a rubber stamp thing today which you make up from little letters & numbers provided to say whatever you want it to say. i got it so that i can stamp my phone contact details onto the various enjo bits & pieces which i send out to people who host a demo.

i love stamping things. what is it about it that's so fun? i really don't know, but i guess it's not an uncommon fixation since they sell little rubber stamps for kids as well as much more expensive ones for adults. i'm not into rubber stamping like that kind of rubber stamping, i just like stamping any old rubber stamp all over any bit of paper. lol! *chuckle*

"stampin', stampin', stampin'

keep them doggies rolling

cut 'em out (ride 'em in)
ride 'em in (cut 'em out)
cut 'em out (ride 'em in) [cue fade out ..]"

reaching out - 09:21 PM

today smiley reached out to me for the first time!

actually, it was twice. a friend was holding him & he turned his body around & kind of leaned/reached toward me as though he wanted to be held by me. we thought maybe it was just an accident, that maybe he just happened to be leaning in that direction, but then when she brought him closer & sat him on the edge of the table near me, he did it again. there was no mistaking it that time. very cool. *smile*

mind you, if it continues to the stage where he only ever wants to be held by me then i can see that my joy at this event may wane just a tad. *chuckle*

back to school - 09:15 PM

i must remember to never again go into the stationery section of a department store on the afternoon of the last late night shopping night before school starts back for the year. never doing it again.

okay, well maybe i will be doing it in a few years, but even then i'm going to try to make sure i have all his school stationery shopping done way earlier than five days before the new school year begins.
