after having not peed while his nappy was off for a very long time, the other day smiley did it four times in the space of about five minutes. everytime i turned around to clean up the result of one fountain, he'd give me another one.
then, after all that, he lay there with his nappy off, merrily producing a little lava flow of poo which went on & on. ahh, the joys of motherhood ..

riley's fingernails grow so quickly. i just cut them recently & already he's grown back some wicked little claws. i can only cut them when he's asleep, because he wiggles too much & i'm afraid of cutting his fingers accidentally, so i have to choose my times carefully.
i can hear his nails stratching on the fabric of the arch which holds his toys above his play mat. thank goodness there are no blackboards around ..
