still frozen - 08:25 PM

i took some chicken schnitzels out of the big chest freezer an hour or two ago for us to eat for dinner. a few minutes ago i thought they would be just about defrosted, so i went to get them & cook them. shroom was helping & asked where they were. "in the sink," i said. shroom replied, "nope. they're not." i was sure i'd put them in there. we wondered for a minute if maybe mcgarnicle had stolen them off the bench, but then i realised what i did. i'd brought them inside from the outside freezer & then put them into the freezer section of the fridge. mah.
they're still frozen solid, of course .. & now we're going to have to wait longer for dinner while the we defrost them in the microwave. poo.
i really need to get more sleep ..
I know how that feels! Once when I was a new mom, I had someone visiting me and I was busy talking, etc., and I dried all my dishes and put them in the fridge. She waited until I was done then told me what I had done. Oh well, not long after that is when we moved to a place with a dishwasher, good thing for me. I know that new moms have so much to do that it easy to become confused.

oh i know what you mean. when your mind gets cluttered with things to do it easy to make mistakes. sooooo easy. sometimes i just sit and let my mind calm down to keep it to a minimum.
