it's all done. finally!
this morning shroom brought home the final trailer load of, well .. stuff .. from two houses ago. we used to live there about two or three years ago. it's shroom's house which he's had for close on ten years now. we moved out of there a long time ago & a friend of the family moved in. shroom gave her discounted rent because we kept one room as storage. all the stuff from that room is now in our garage.
the last load was all shed stuff (garden tools, etc) & shroom has spent the larger part of today clearing out crap from our shed & reorganising it. he's done a great job. it looks fantastic now & there's room for everything. we even managed to get away with having spiders crawling on us only a few times.

smiley is an expert at rolling over now. when we lie him on his play mat, sometimes he'll roll this way & that way over & over & over. only every now & then does he get get a little bit frustrated if he gets one arm caught under himself & he can't free it. aside from that one small issue, though, he's a rolling over star!
