riley has his first cold. i think he got it from his nanna (my mum). when he woke up after his evening sleep late last night, he was coughing a bit. by the time he was ready for his late evening feed his nose was all snuffley as well. he's been doing pretty well though. when feeding he only seems to need to jump of the boob once or twice until his nose clears enough to feed properly & aside from being all stuffed up & coughing a bit, he seems relatively happy. i checked his temperature last night (just to be sure) & he doesn't have a fever.
i hope he continues to be mostly happy because his other nanna (shroom's mum) is looking after him for the third day in a row today, the last day of my enjo training. she & shroom's dad love having him there. they just adore him. it's so nice to see. 
Hope Riley feels much better soon.
So much for breastfeeding immunity, James has had a handful of little colds since he was born.
I use Fess for his stuffy nose, a saline solution. Salt and water and also breastmilk are good too (although how you get the latter up their nose I'm unsure :/
