i wonder if riley's teething. he's been cranky pretty much the whole time he's been awake & has been producing poo after poo. i know that yucky poos are a sign of teething, but maybe heaps of them is a sign too.

Could be, Corri ... he is the right age. Is he:
- chewing on everything
- drooling
- off his feed a bit?
Those were all signs for me that my Alia was teething. (She's now cut 2 teeth and has 2 more on the way).
Some babies also get the flaming red cheek and a fever but I haven't had that with Alia.
If you think it might be teeth, try offering him a cloth nappy / flannel soaked in boiled water and then made cold in the fridge. Alia lurves this, she can chew chew chew on the cold cloth and also suck some cool water out of it. Helped her grumps no end, way better than the teething ring.
