man, this solids caper has added a whole new challenge to my day. i can't simply whip the boob out for a feed every time when he's hungry & then continue with what i was doing on the computer, albeit with only one hand.
giving riley solids requires more than just my full attention & two hands. it requires being a multitasking octopus: removing his hands from his mouth, trying to push him backwards to sit up so that i can reach his mouth with the spoon, collecting the dribbles going down his chin, & keeping the container of food & the spoon away from his hands.
at least it's quite fun when he seems to really enjoy what he's eating & he laughs so much that i wonder when he's going to close his mouth again to keep the food in.
Yeah, it does change things a bit. I found this in between stage of slushy food until you get to normal food a bit of a pain. I felt much more attached to the house seeing we had to be home for not only naps but also feeding.
I'm glad he enjoys his food so much!
mys thinkin' some cute pictures of these events would be good
but you may have to get the fungus to take them. or to feed him so you can take them.
