chicken soup - 02:03 PM

i'm making chicken (& vegetable) soup. everything's in & pretty much cooked, but now i have to remove the chook & take out all the bones. that's going to be a challenge, since it fell apart progressively more & more every time i grabbed it with the tongs to move it around in the pot to allow the vegetables to mix into the water properly.

its possibly a silly question but why didn't you do the chicken separately first so you wouldn't have to pick bones out?
