i bought a cool toy for smiley yesterday. a lamaze octotunes. he's very cool. when you squeeze his legs, each one plays a different note of a whole octave. when i tried them in the shop some had legs which were slightly off pitch, so i got someone to take down another & another & another octopus from the top rack (which i couldn't reach myself, of course) until i found one that was totally in tune. *chuckle*

i've been playing tunes on him for smiley. i'd seen the same thing but a puppy with only four legs, & thus four notes, but i wanted to be able to play whole tunes on it, so i looked for the octopus & finally found one. smiley thinks it's pretty cool. i think it's kind of fun, too. actually, i lie .. i think it's a whole lot of fun! you can see another pic here with a baby holding him. he's quite large. *smile*

sounds kewl. i would have thought a baby would first be afraid of it. obtw: when does your first cd come out?

i love lamaze toys! whenever i have to buy a present for a baby its lamaze. they last forever and are so colourful and educational.
