mum has his cold - 11:46 AM

i've got riley's cold. bummer. i woke up with a sore throat yesterday morning & by last night my sinuses were so blocked that at 2:30am i was seriously considering taking the electric drill to them to drain them! if little smiley was suffering that much, then now i understand why he was waking up in the night so upset. poor little bugger.

since i'm breastfeeding, i avoided taking anything for sinus pain, but when i woke in the night with my head feeling as if it was about to explode, i had to do something, so i took some cold & flu tablets & within half an hour or so my head was right enough to fall asleep again.

Ooh - all the best to getting lots of rest and you are back on your feet again. It's so hard to call in sick when you've the job of Mum. Pretty damn near impossible!

Extremely hard to take care of a little one when you're so sick yourself, so sometimes you just have to take the risk.
