almost cruising & banging things - 08:51 AM

riley is almost able to cruise, that is, walk along holding the furniture for support. the desire is there. he manages to take one or two tiny steps, but then loses his balance, or gets stuck & isn't sure what to do next or something & usually drops onto his bottom. he can walk with no troubles if you hold both of his hands & have him walk along between your legs.
i forgot to blog about his when he began doig it, but about a week & a half ago he discovered that he can bang things on other things to make a sound. clever boy. 
very odd dream - 08:37 AM

i had the strangest dream last night. it could have been two separate dreams. it was full of dwarfs & amputees & some baddies trying to bury someone in some hay. hugh jackman was in it & was an amputee. one of a pair of twins was buried in the hay & had some stitches put into her skin while she was alive, but the baddies thought she was actually her sister, who really was dead. one of the dwarfs slept with one of the main women in the dream (whom i think was also a dwarf, but this wasn't the twins, this was a different set of sisters) twice, in her sister's new bed, in her brand new 'just got married' house. she thought her sister was dead but it turned out that she wasn't. the dwarf she slept with turned out to be some mega-rich philanthopist who didn't let on that he was rich. he sort of tricked her into sleeping with him in her sister's house & knew that the sister wasn't really dead & so wasn't surprised when the newly married sister & her new husband rocked up the house & becamse angry with the sister he'd slept with.
as i said, a very strange dream.
i think i got hugh jackman in there because he's been doing some foxtel ads on tv lately & he's also on a billboard i've passed a few times advertising for the movie van helsing. the amputees were in there possibly because of an amputee site i stumbled across a few days ago. i'm really not sure where the dwarfs came from though ..
