smiley laughs at the oddest things, sometimes. just now he looked at mcgarnicle scratching himself & exploded with a big laugh. he's such a funny little bugger. he makes me laugh.

mcgarnicle ate riley's old teething rusk from yesterday. oh well, it was old & full of dog hair anyway.

i wanted to prepare some lunch for myself, so to keep smiley busy, i sat him on the kitchen floor with a small metal bowl. i spun it on its edge a few times to peak his interest in it, then began making my lunch. the whole time i was doing my thing, he was picking up the bowl by the edge & dropping it, trying to make it spin as i had. clever little boy.
