i think shroom wondered why on earth i gave him a totally blank look when he walked up to me & said, "zapple keep sneeter?" of course, i was wondering what on earth "zapple keep sneeter" actually meant.

turns out that he was saying, "does that looks heaps neater?" in regard to his beard which he'd just trimmed & neatened up a bit.
