hey, not fair! someone's put me on spamcop! i've been getting bounces from spam supposedly sent from my domain name, but they've been spoofing my email address, i haven't sent the spam. seems that someone reckoned it was me though & has told spamcop that i've been sending spam.

emails to friends have been bounced back because i'm blocked. they must have spamcop running. grrrr! *grrr!*

if you're using spamcop & regularly receive email from me, be aware that my email to you is being blocked. so far email to jade & jillis have been bounced. *sad*

i just finished making smiley an all-in-one pajama outfit, a kind of jump suit, i guess. i didn't use a pattern, i just copied off another one he has which fits him well. i'm really pleased with how well it turned out! i took some pics, but i haven't uploaded them to my computer yet. i'll post a link when i have them online.

smiley's tongue clicking has morphed into something new. it's a kind of "tsk! tsk!" sound, you know the one you make when someone does something you don't like? it's also the sound that skippy the bush kangaroo (this is as opposed to the city kangaroo, i assume?) used to make when he ('he' meaning male, of course, which is a whole other issue since only female kangaroos have pouches & skippy was supposedly a boy, yet he had a pouch) was trying to alert sonny to something fishy going on.

so whenever he does it, i have the complusion to say, "what's that, skip?" & sing the theme song, albeit our own version: "smiley! smiley! smiley, the bush kangaroo. smiley! smiley! smiley, a friend ever true. da da, da dum, da da, da dum, da da, da dum!"

searching for a skippy link made me discover that you can actually get the skippy series on dvd. wow .. you can watch as many times as you like that fake kangaroo paw on a stick come into shot & do amazing things which normally require an opposable thumb, like undo slide bolts & open doors etc. i'm mocking it, yes, but that doesn't mean that i didn't watch it as a kid, & enjoy it immensely, as almost any australian my age did, all those years ago. it really was a good show. really, it was. *chuckle*
