yep. his first tooth has definitely broken through. i've managed to have a bit of a closer (albeit very quick) look & there's a tooth there! so today he had his first teeth brushing. i let him chew on it for a bit (which he's pretty much keen to do with anything, these days) & then i gave his first little tooth a gentle brushing. he didn't seem to mind. i could hear the difference between the sound of the brush on his gums & the sound of the bristles flicking over the tiny bit of tooth.
it's exciting, isn't it?

maybe it has! maybe it has broken through! he was just opening his mouth to yell at me (he's finished his toast & wants to get out of his high chair) & i think i see the tooth! woooh!

i've wanted a dustbuster for ages. we got one yesterday. makes it a bit easier to clean up small dry spills when it's not big enough to drag the whole vacuum cleaner out, but not so small that a simple paper towel will do.
i haven't used it yet. i've only just installed the thing on the wall & plugged it in to charge fully.

there's a little tooth hiding away under riley's gums. i can feel it. i can't see it poking its pointy little face through yet, but it must be so close, because for all my worth, when i rub it with my finger, it feels as though it's up.
