well, after discovering almost six months ago that the link, bold or italicize thing on comments wasn't working, it's finally going again. i got the chance to look at it a few days ago & i was buggered if i could figure out why it wasn't working. it took patricia to figure it out for me: i'd forgotten to actually include the code. lol! 
silly me.
so if you ever want to link to somewhere, or make your point more clear by making something bold or italicized you are now happily able to do so.

incentive to tidy - 10:03 AM

shroom's given me a great incentive to help him get our garage, specifically the stuff stored in there, sorted out. he said, "i'll make you a deal. once we get all this stuff into the storage containers," (most of the things that are in there were in cardboard boxes which had become wet & the contents were in danger of being damaged) "& sorted out," (we want to sell or dispose of the things we don't want or need anymore) "then we can go camping."
we bought some good camping gear over two years ago, but haven't actually gone camping yet, so they've been unused. i absolutely love camping, so this is a great way for shroom to encourage to help out with this task which we both (okay, i'll tell the truth, me) have been avoiding.
