i think riley enjoys eating his toast or corn thins not because they taste nice, but because whenever he is eating anything like that, mcgarnicle doesn't stray further than within two feet of him. most times spunkle will run away from smiley when he tries to play with him because he pulls on his hair & his whiskers, but when he's eating something, he stay right close & riley can look at him & laugh at him & play with him almost as much as he likes.
