i risk jinxing myself by saying this, but so far it hadn't crashed again. this proxy server of ours had never played up until shroom moved it to my desk & installed my data drive so that i could use it while my computer is dead. when i told him last night lying in bed before we went to sleep about it constantly crashing, i had the thought that maybe something had simply been inadvertently knocked loose. it's a very basic computer so there wasn't much to reseat, but since i've done that it hasn't crashed again.
mind you, i still think i'm cursed. my history with computers is beginning to be almost as bad as that of a lady who shroom used to work with. our thoughts on her was that maybe she carried more of a static charge with her than most people.

this replacement computer is now also playing up. i may not even be able to finish typing this entry before it'll reboot at the drop of a hat. i think i may be cursed.
