i feel so awful! first real discipline for smiley. he's been biting heaps & he just did it once again so i took him & put him in his cot by himself. he's only been there for about a minute, but i feel so awful already.
i think that's enough time now, anyway. he's got the point. poor little thing.

it can be hard, but necessary for learning right-from-wrong. another hard thing is holding back one's temper so that we don't over do it. a child may do somethng that really sets us off, then we have to cool down to discipline and that time delay can deter from the child knowing what they did wrong because it wasn't instantenous with the wrong doing. so much to learn. [alas]
