i wasn't going to say anything about this here until it seemed like it was definitely happening. i haven't heard otherwise from the agency who booked smiley in, so i'll tell you.
tomorrow smiley is going to a casting for a huggies ad! when he was just four weeks old i rang around to find some local child modelling agencies. of course i think he's the cutest baby boy in the whole wide world™ but i believe that a few others think that, too. a few days ago she asked for some updated pictures. she then contacted me to check if he was possibly right for the part (they need a crawling baby) & booked us in.
if he doesn't get the job, it's all cool, but it'll be pretty fun if he does get it! all he has to do is crawl for everyone. he loves showing off so i think he'll enjoy his casting tomorrow. 
Oh cool! We were approached in a mall in Honolulu, Hawaii by a Gerber representative back in 1990 about our oldest son. He was about 5-6 months old at the time. We declined, and we kind of regret that now. Hmm, I wonder if we'd get to see the commercial or magazine ads here in the states if Smiley got the part? Go Smiley!
He definitely has star baby quality and he's so easy going, I'm sure they'll love him!
