i just called dad on the mobile to talk to him & tosca. tosca's doing well, although she lost a fair bit of blood. she's a bit disappointed that she can't hold kassia very much because she tires so easily from the loss of blood. she didn't need a transfusion or anything, but they're keeping an eye on her.
i heard kassia making a few little noises in the background & dad was holding her while i was talking to him. it was so nice to hear him talking to her. i think he's in love all over again. it's lovely.

oh, man. i'm so excited about my new little baby sister, kassia. i've never had a little sister before. i had to blog again because i was so excited.

my little baby sister, kassia francesca, was born this morning at 11:something (that's all i know). 8 pound, a girl (obviously, but we already knew that ages ago). new mum is doing well, but is tired since she was in labour all night. little kassia is breastfeeding well & from what i understand hasn't slept yet either.
i'm going to have to call dad a bit later tonight, i think, to congratulate them both. how exciting!! yay! i can hardly wait to see some pictures.
