playing with the oven door - 07:54 PM

i was showing smiley just before how the oven door was hot, by touching it with my hand, then pulling it back quickly & saying "ouch! hot!!" i did this a few times to get the point across.
he was looking at it, so i sid, "no, riley. don't touch the oven. it's hot." he then ran over, touched it with his hand & pulled it back quickly like it was a big game. lol!! 
then of course, a second later he felt the heat from it & had a small cry. it wasn't hot enough to actually burn his hand, just to give him a bit of a fright, but it was pretty funny to watch him dash over there & touch it, knowing that he was being cheeky.
ROFL!! Hopefully he won't do that again, now!

you're lucky he can't turn it on!! quite frequently madeleine turns the oven on and i don't know. just the other day i had a friend over and she had turned it on and we kept smelling something really good and commenting on it- yum something smells good and it was just that madeleine had turned the oven on!!!
