twenty-four hours ago (plus two hours, since my computer crashed when i first began writing this & i began doing other things instead of rebooting) we found out that shroom got the job. since that time, i've arranged for everything to be happening over the next few days.
tomorrow the packers arrive & pack up everything except the essentials (including my computer, which i consider to be an essential. 
heh), sunday we go for a bon voyage lunch at shroom's parents place, sunday evening i hope i might be able to catch up with my sister & her family (i hadn't mentioned it here, but she's moving back to brisbane, yay! they arrive tomorrow), monday the movers pack our house into the truck/s & i pack up the dog to go to some people who specialise in animal transport, monday afternoon we drive to childers & stay in a motel (no stress & a place to sleep), tuesday the movers arrive & we shift everything into the house, wednesday we get the dog from the transport people, thursday the telstra guy comes to hook up our phone, friday is shroom's first day at work.
i've arranged for disconnection of the phone & electricity & if i get a chance tomorrow i'll arrange for a forward on our mail.
it's been a full on twenty-four hours, but we're ready to go!

sounds like you should be wore out already. very aggressive plan. don't over do it real girl. see you when you sign back on. obtw: glad to hear about your sis moving close.
