i've been chasing smiley around all morning while the packers have been doing their thing. i'm absolutely stuffed! i mean, i didn't pack anything, although i guess this morning we ran around a bit making sure that we have everything packed aside that we need for the next few days. i'm exhausted.
chasing smiley around, keeping him amused & making sure he wasn't in the way was quite tiring.
shroom's out with his parents at the house we would have moved into had he not got the job which is moving us north. they're preparing it (cleaning up, doing a few bits of painting) for tenants. there aren't tenants moving in on wednesday, as there are here, but i doubt that it'll be empty for long.
i hope smiley wants a sleep soon. i'm stuffed. i imagine shroom will want to have a nap when he gets home, too. he's been working very hard. we're supposed to be going out tonight to see some friends before we move on monday. if we want to do that we'd better have a sleep in the afternoon or we'll be sitting there tonight nodding off to sleep.
try and get some rest. unpacking is just as tough as packing.
I'm assuming that "stuffed"
means tired? Here in
Texas we use "stuffed"
to describe a very full feeling from eating too much.
It's funny to see the
difference of meaning in the
use of the word : )

Moving is hard enough but when you add a toddler into the mix it's twice as hard. Take care and try not to get too exhausted!
