suck, suck, suck, ahhhhh - 02:50 PM

smiley must have been watching us drink from our water bottles. he likes to carry them around, you see, so i just gave him one (with the pop top shut) which he's been playing with for a few minutes.
he puts it in his mouth, tips it up & sucks on it as though he's drinking from it (even though nothing's coming out since it's closed). he then finishes & goes, "ahhhhhhh!" really loudly.
rotfl!!!! it totally cracks me up every time!

i just came home from doing some grocery shopping. when i walked up the back stairs, mcgarnicle was looking guilty, ducking down low to the ground, that sort of thing. i wondered maybe if he'd just been sleeping on our bed while i was out, because i couldn't see anything obviously out of place.
i put smiley inside & went to the car to bring up some of the bags. when i got back inside he had some mushy brown stuff in his hands & was merrirly squishing it between his fingers. at first i thought it was dirt from his current new 'toy', a knot hole in the floor of the bedroom that had somehow been made wet, but then it quickly dawned on me that it was not dirt. ewwwww!
thankfully he didn't decide to taste it.
