no shampoo or conditioner - 08:00 PM
after reading a while ago in various places on the net about people not using shampoo or conditioner anymore, but instead using bicarb soda & vinegar, i've decided to try it for myself. i only have to wash my hair about once a week anyway, so i've only done it once in the last week since i decided to give it a try.
the first time it's worked quite well. my hair looks nice & is managable. time will tell if it continues to do a nice job.
slowly, slowly, i'm becoming more & more friendly to myself & to the environment.

I tried it and gave up. It started well, with shiny hair and such but then I went through a really oily itchy phase that I just couldn't cope with. It went all fly-away on me and it turns out my hair is quite porous and I couldn't get rid of the smell of the apple cider vinegar, even though it was really diluted.
Every so often I'll do a baking soda wash to get rid of any buildup on my hair but that's about it.
