smiley's found his dummy, which he never used as a younger baby. he's munching on it now, which is excellent, because biting on the rubbery bit of a dummy when one's teeth & gums are bothering one is much better than biting mummy's nipple .. then mummy's right shoulder .. & then mummy's left shoulder.

i wonder when i should make a new category for baby news. i mean, he's not really a baby anymore, is he? i might have to create a toddler category. wow. my baby's not a baby anymore.

i've put on a bit of weight recently. i'm going to lose some. since i'm still breastfeeding, i'm not going to go on a diet, as such (i need all the nutrients i can get to pass onto smiley & besides, most 'diets' are not healthy at all), i'm simply going to cut out some of the fatty & unhealthy things i've been eating & drinking of late.
i'm having no more than one can of coke a day, if i make fudge again i'll pack some of it away somewhere other than into my mouth & i'm going to increase my fruit & veggie intake. so far, so good.
