smiley's begun trying to say some words. over the past several months there have been various versions of what we might think are 'daddy' & 'mummy', but there's been nothing terribly recognisable.
over the last week though, he's begun to try saying some words of objects at which he's been pointing & we've been naming. the objects he's currently fascinated with are the ceiling fan, the clock, & lights.
for 'light' he says what sounds like "ight" or sometimes "eight". for 'clock' he says a kind of gutteral "gluck" sound. it's very cute.
