in the last day, smiley has come out with a whole lot of words & sounds which he's not made before. yesterday at the beach he even said a kind of sentence. there were several words to it. i have no idea exactly what he was saying, but he said it with a fair bit of conviction. he was enjoying a shovel, a rake & a container full of sand, so i suspect it meant something like, "look! i can put this grainy stuff in this container & take it out again!" heh.
