i'm not sure if i mentioned it last time he had it, but smiley has a puffy eye again. i took him to the doctor last time after it didn't go away after a couple of mornings & he said it was mild conjuntivitis. he gave me some stuff to put in his eye, but i only had the chance to use it once before it went away on its own.
this time i think i'll do what my sister said she did with her girls when they had the same thing. she used to gently wipe their eyes with saline, one clean tissue for each eye of course, & it would clear up very nicely.
if it doesn't improve over a couple of days as it did last time then i'll take him to the doc again.
Are you (still) nursing? If so, try treating the eye with a few drops of your milk. It should help, and certainly can't hurt.
If you are still breastfeeding, try squirting a bit of milk into his eye. Trust me, it works!
