i went into bundaberg this morning & stopped in a small shopping plaza to go to kmart. outside the doors in the mall area there was a guy doing entertainment for kids. i watched for a minute or so to see what was going on & thought smiley might want to see, too.
this guy was brilliant. he had one of those tiny, tiny little push bikes & was geeing the kids up to get him to ride it. they were calling out instructions to make him do it & he was teasing them. for instance, he had the bike sitting in front of him upside down on its handles & they were yelling, "the other way!" so he'd turn it around in a circle, but still upside down. finally he had it right side up but backwards. he turned it around again & they all called, "no!" he spun it again & they called, "yes!" & he kept going with them all calling out rhythmically, "yes! no! yes! no! yes! no!" man, he was workin' that crowd! 
this guy was a total professional. he even had me laughing out loud, but the kids were having the time of their lives. i was really impressed. it's hard to entertain kids & keep them rapt like that.
his website isn't all that great (beware, dicky, but catchy music on the site, too) but if you want to see it go here. he wasn't dressed like the first picture (kind of like KISS caught in a paint factory explosion) but like in the second picture with the big hat.
