the great rake debacle - 09:09 AM

our neighbour has stolen our rake. we're sure of it.
shroom has a rake which he's had for years. it's a really good rake. not one of those crappy sheet metal aluminium pressed out & sliced up things, but one made with one solid piece of heavy metal that looks like a fork with the tines bent down .. if you know what i mean.
years ago the dog chewed on the handle, halfway down & enough so that it broke with use. so the pole is only half the length of a normal one. makes it difficult to use, but it still can be used.
it was down the side of the house where shroom had used it last, but then disappeared. shroom saw it in the neighbour's yard, so he approached the guy (he works with him, you see) & said something to the effect of "i think you've got my rake."
this guy claims it's his rake & that he brought it with him from proserpine.
*raises eyebrow*
what are the chances of him having the same one-piece hard metal rake with a broken handle & it turning up exactly when our rake goes missing?
there's one way to tell. shroom's has a bent tine on it. if this one has the same bent tine, then we know for sure that it's shroom's rake. let's see what happens, shall we?

this may be tmi (too much information) for some, but definitely not for mums.
a few people commented (publically or via an email) about smiley's puffy eye & suggested squirting breastmilk into his eye. you know what? it's a hell of a lot easier than i thought!
i can only aim with the one boob (the other one is all cock-eyed when it sprays. i simply can't aim right with it & it leaks all over my hand instead) but after a few tries, i'm getting pretty good. not only that, but he thinks it's a right old game & loves it!
there's no chasing him down with a dropper or anything. i just grab my boob, point & squeeze. rotfl!
