all packed & ready - 11:03 PM

i'm all packed & ready to go. tomorrow i leave here at about 9am for the airport for a 12:15pm flight. seems excessive to leave that early, but aside from it taking an hour or more to actually get to the airport, i have to check in an hour before the flight leaves as well as allowing time before that for parking the car & wrangling smiley, his car seat, his stroller & my (extremely heavy) suitcase into the airport.

i'm leaving dad & tosca's car in long term parking (they're coming back from the gold coast the following day) for them to pick up & there's a shuttle bus every fifteen minutes, so i have to allow time for that too, in case i just miss the bus to the airport from the parking area.

i have an hour & twenty minutes to hang out at the brisbane airport between connecting flights & then in rockhampton i'll be waiting for two & a half hours before i have to get on the 6:30pm bus for emerald which will arrive at about 10pm.

it's going to be a really long day. *sigh*
