now he's into the pickled onions. he's definitely his father's child. if he likes capers, too, then there's absolutely no doubting whose taste buds he inherited.

my mate, jess, is coming over. it'll be good. after a long easter weekend with having shroom around the whole time & doing stuff, once it's over it feels a bit odd to just be at home doing the usual things, so it'll be nice to have to some company.
awake for an hour last night - 07:45 AM

smiley stayed awake for about an hour last night. at one stage i thought he was going to go back to sleep earlier than than that, but as soon as i took him back into bed he started making more animal noises (heh) so i took him back out here again.
finally he lay down on me & closed his eyes properly, so i took him back to bad & he went straight to sleep. so did i. lol!
i thought he might sleep in a bit this morning but, unfortunately, no. i'll definitely be having a nap with him today.

smiley now says 'shoe'. he says it, "shewwww". it's very cute.

smiley is wide awake. he woke for a feed & then sat up, very much awake, making animal noises & chatting away. shroom has to wake for work in about three or so hours, so i thought i'd take smiley out of the bedroom so he could continue sleeping while smiley (hopefully .. please! please! please!) gets tired & wants to go back to sleep.
i'm so tired that i can barely type. let's hope i can sleep tomorrow when smiley has one of his day naps.
