adsl to come later - 08:42 AM

when they came to connect the phone line the other day i thought they were doing the whole adsl thing at the same time, but it turns out that comes later.
an application is in, but it can take up to two weeks to go where it has to go & do what it has to do. as for booking them in to actually come & install the adsl, well who know how much longer that might take?
anyway, at least it's happening in some form or another.

had a huge sleep in this morning. smiley slept in & therefore i could, too. very nice, indeed.
words progressing - 08:23 AM

smiley's progressing well with words. some words which weren't quite right are now becoming full words.
two examples are "mm" which was his version of what a cow says, has now become "moo" & when he asked for boobie, it was "dee?" it's now "doodee?"
'apple' is sort of "uh-pup" & 'banana' is variously "na-da" or "nya-da". 'star' is "daaaah". "daddy", "moon" & "car" are as clear as day.
