parents-in-law to visit - 06:24 PM

shroom's mum & dad, audrey & rudi, are coming to visit! i'm quite excited, actually. they're both really lovely & i know that smiley is going to absolutely love having them here, as much as they'll enjoy being here with smiley. 
they're leaving by car on thursday & arriving here on friday. it's not that long of a drive, but they're going to just take it easy & stay overnight somewhere along the way.
shroom & smiley & i are going to bunk down in the spare room on the floor with a camping mat or two & we'll give them our bedroom, since we only have the one bed. i can almost guess that they might try to insist they have the floor, but there's no way we're putting shroom's parents on the floor. they're not that old & we're not that young anymore, but we're still young enough to handle sleeping on the floor for a few nights.
it'll be really good. even though there'll be more people to look after, i know that audrey won't be able to help herself with helping me out, but even if it's only helping out with smiley, that'll be a great help. it'll be like having some time off but without having to be away from him!
aside from them being able to spend time with smiley, i'm looking forward to seeing them. they're really lovely people. they're about the best in-laws a person could have, i reckon.
