opinions on fudge prices please? - 02:20 PM
(filed under 'creative')
i need your opinions. i'm thinking about how i want to price the fudge that i'll be selling at my next market stall which is not this sunday coming, but the one after.
my thoughts were twelve pieces for $3 or maybe $4. it's really good fudge. there'll be milk chocolate, dark chocolate & caramel flavour. the packs won't be mixed, each pack will just have the one flavour.
i can't tell you how much fudge that is by weight, but i can tell you that each piece will be approximately 2 to 3cm (about an inch) wide & over 1cm (over a third of an inch) high.
opinions please?
mmm I think that's a pretty reasonable price... I'd definately buy it for that much :p
there's a fudge place somweher.... you pay like $4 for 100g, which is maybe 2x2x6? not huge, anyway////
mmm you just had an ad up for beechorth sweets... mmmm I went to that shop when I was down there and OMG so yummy
lets see...add up the cost of the ingredients, add some of your time (maybe $10/hr), then add a profit (perhaps another 10%). then multiple by the percentage of each unit from the whole of the product. trying to help.
$3,50
Hard to say. We bought large pieces in UK last year and that was more expensive, but that was in a designated store, anyway.
Let's see if i can find the website.
