mouse in the house - 04:37 PM

there's a mouse in the house. i've seen evidence of it in the past couple of weeks, but not until today have i seen the actual mouse itself.

i was headed into the bedroom to change smiley's nappy & i saw it run away.

just now i put my feet down on the floor heavily & it must have been nearby because mcgarnicle went chasing what i assume was the mouse into a corner. there's a cupboard there, so i think it must have run under the cupboard door.

might be time to buy a mouse trap.

......borrow a cat. i had mice when i first bought my house. my son's cat cleared them all away in a week.

Mice are a problem. Had a similar problem, and used the traps. If you hear a trap snap, it is a dreadful thing. Advise: place a daily paper underneath to expedite clean-up.
