biggest one i've ever seen! - 07:58 PM
this is the happy (& extremely descriptive) conclusion to the troubles smiley was having the other day.
this is definitely only for those with kids or those who don't mind descriptive talk about bodily functions, so stop reading here if you can't handle that sort of thing.
smiley has been asking to go to the toilet several times a day, but he was rather distressed about it & wasn't able to actually do anything even though he obviosuly needed to. over the last hour or so he's been very agitated & was trying very hard to go, walking around stiff-legged, high on his toes, & asking for the toilet every few minutes, but then getting all upset everytime we got there.
i decided to leave his nappy on since we couldn't even get to the toilet before he'd want to run the other day, let alone get his pants off.
for the last forty-five minutes he'd been travelling around the lounge room, leaning over things, tip toeing around, grunting, making all sorts of faces. i checked his nappy initially after about fifteen minutes of this but there was only the tiniest little poo in there. there was obviously much more to come, so i let him continue his grunting & walking.
he finally passed the biggest poo i've ever seen in my entire life. there was a solid mass of what had obviously been troubling him the last few days (he did actually do some poos three days ago, but not as much as i would have expected since he was lacking in the poo department for a while) which certainly wasn't rock hard, but was very thick & heavy. the rest was fresher which had obviously been backed up behind this huge mass. it filled his nappy & more & was halfway down one leg inside his pants, too.
i swear, what he was holding inside him would have given any grown adult a bad stomach ache. poor little bugger. after he was cleaned up, the relief was immediate. he's happier than he has been for about two weeks.
i don't know what caused it because our diets haven't changed & he's been just as active as he has always been. i guess the prunes helped. i think i'll make sure he has one or two a day from now on just to make sure he doesn't have to go through that again, the poor little thing.
if you've read this far, congratulations. if you haven't, then i don't actually blame you!
anyway, i'm so glad he's got that out of him. my poor smiley.
